We are a family oriented riding stable providing you with professional riding lessons for the horse lovers in your family. Our goal is to educate as well as making your overall experience with us as friendly , relaxing and pleasurable as possible. We offer scenic wooded trails, open fields, a sand ring, and pony rides are also available for smaller children. We are a popular spot for supervised birthday parties and arrangements can also be made for organized corn roasts and hay rides. Horse riding is therapeutic and will improve the minds and souls of everyone who takes the time to enjoy one of life’s oldest pastimes. There is a therapeutic riding instructor on site. Individual evaluation for all special needs clients. NADY funding is available upon approval. |

TESTIMONIAL
Therapeutic riding has revitalized my mind, my body and my spirit! For ten years, I have suffered from fibromyalgia. For an equal amount of years of traditional therapies, I often felt stiff, tired, sore, over-stretched and discouraged.
Riding is different. It is not only therapeutic but recreational therapy as well. It has given me a sense of control, accomplishment, increased self-esteem, confidence, enjoyment and new friends.
Each ride has helped strengthen my spine and pelvic muscles, improved my posture, coordination and increased my joint mobility.
Riding is a blessing. I am grateful and appreciative for caring owners/therapeutic coaches Jen and Keith Serson.
I feel my overall health and well being is constantly improving. My energy level is steadily rising. I am beginning to feel more relaxed and peaceful. After a year and a half, I am now leasing my own horse.
Healing truly comes from the heart and Rocky Road Acres is a place full of HEART.
